The Shumard Red Oak is a fast-growing, broad shaded tree with a recognizable, sharp-edged leaf structure. It produces stunning red and yellow leaves in the fall before shedding them. At maturity, it reaches a height of 50-60 feet, growing at a rate of 2-3 feet per year.
